Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use TradeMind, we collect:

  • Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account via Supabase Auth.
  • Trading data: Trade records you import via CSV, enter manually, or sync automatically through connected brokers.
  • Broker connection data: When you connect a broker via SnapTrade or MetaApi, we receive read-only access to your trade history and account identifiers. We do not access your brokerage credentials, funds, or ability to place trades.
  • Payment information: Processed securely through Razorpay (for INR) and PayPal (for USD). We store subscription IDs and payment status but never store card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank details.
  • Usage analytics: We use PostHog for product analytics (pages visited, features used, session duration) to improve the Service. Data is associated with your user ID for personalization.
  • Error tracking: We use Sentry to capture application errors and crashes. Error reports may include your browser type, device info, and the action that triggered the error. No trading data is included in error reports.
  • Email engagement: We track email delivery and open rates for transactional and drip emails sent via Resend.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide the TradeMind trading journal, analytics, and mentor features
  • Sync trades from connected brokers automatically
  • Calculate performance metrics, risk analytics, and psychology insights
  • Send account-related emails (verification, password reset, subscription updates)
  • Send onboarding drip emails, weekly digests, and re-engagement emails (you can opt out)
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions via Razorpay and PayPal
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve features and performance
  • Monitor application health and fix bugs via error tracking

3. Data Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with:

  • Row-Level Security (RLS) ensuring users can only access their own data
  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all communications
  • Encryption at rest for database storage
  • Supabase Edge Functions for server-side processing of sensitive operations
  • Security headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, Permissions-Policy) on all pages

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party services only as necessary to operate TradeMind:

  • Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and serverless functions (EU/US regions)
  • Razorpay: Payment processing for INR subscriptions (India)
  • PayPal: Payment processing for USD subscriptions
  • SnapTrade: Broker connection and trade sync for supported brokers (Canada)
  • MetaApi: MetaTrader 4/5 trade sync (EU)
  • Resend: Transactional and marketing email delivery
  • PostHog: Product analytics (EU-hosted)
  • Sentry: Error monitoring and crash reporting
  • Vercel: Web application hosting and CDN
  • Google Analytics: Website traffic analysis (marketing site only)

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use:

  • Authentication tokens stored securely by Supabase
  • localStorage for user preferences (theme, streamer mode, onboarding progress)
  • PostHog cookies for analytics session tracking
  • Google Analytics cookies on the marketing site

6. Data Retention

We retain your trading data and account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained for product improvement.

7. Your Rights

  • Export: You can export all your trading data at any time via CSV, PDF, or zip backup
  • Disconnect brokers: You can disconnect any connected broker instantly from your settings
  • Opt out of emails: Unsubscribe from marketing and digest emails at any time
  • Delete account: Request account deletion by contacting thehouseoftraders69@gmail.com
  • Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you

8. Children's Privacy

TradeMind is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
